Snowfollow displays all snowfall totals that were reported during the time period determined by the above slider (specified in your local time). Click and drag the left or right end of the slider to adjust the start or end time, respectively. Or, click and drag the bar between the ends to simultaneously adjust the start and end times.
The color of an icon indicates the number of inches of snowfall reported, according to the scale above. Click a snow report icon for more information.
When there are too many snow reports in a particular area to display them individually, they appear as clusters, and the average snowfall from those reports is displayed within the cluster icon. The size of the cluster icon indicates the number of reports that it represents. Zoom in on a cluster (One way to do so quickly is by clicking the cluster icon.) to view the individual snow report icons.
The snow reports displayed within Snowfollow originate from Local Storm Reports issued by nationwide National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Offices.
